If you want to make your own Alpha costume from The Walking Dead you can be forgiven for thinking this is a tough fancy dress to create. Yes, an Alpha costume requires a specific selection of clothing but once you have this clothing the rest is easy. Here is everything you will need to make your own Alpha costume from The Walking Dead.
Alpha Sweatshirt

Starting with the bottom layer of clothing you will need either a long sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt. If you choose a sweatshirt it should be quite thin.
You will need a dark blue garment. If possible you should bleach the cuffs to lighten the material like seen in the show. |
Alpha T-Shirt

The t-shirt that Alpha wears is a slightly lighter color than the long sleeved t-shirt you will be wearing. This t-shirt should be worn over the top of the sweatshirt you will be wearing.
This t-shirt looks like the color is beginning to fade. You can achieve this same look by adding bleach to parts of the t-shirt you choose to wear. |
Alpha Tank Top

Over the top of the t-shirt you will need a tank top.
The tank top you will need for your Alpha costume should be dark blue and should have straps that are beginning to wear. |
Alpha Pants

When it comes to pants for your Alpha costume you should look for a pair of denim jeans.
Rather than blue denim jeans you should choose a pair of black denim jeans like the character wears in The Walking Dead. |
Alpha Belt

You could use any belt as part of your Alpha costume but you will need a very specific belt with a very specific buckle if you want to be screen accurate.
If you care to be screen accurate the buckle on the belt you choose should look like the symbol for infinity. |
Alpha Boots

You will need to wear a pair of lace-up boots as part of your Alpha costume.
Throughout The Walking Dead Alpha is seen wearing a pair of black tactical style boots. |
Alpha Knife

Attached to the belt that you are wearing you will need to add a knife sheath and a knife to go in it when making your Alpha costume.
The knife sheath should be attached to your right hip. We would recommend using a rubber training knife or knife prop instead of a real knife. |
Alpha Bald Skull Cap

The hardest part of making your own Alpha costume is replicating her bald head.
If you do not like the idea of shaving your own head to replicate this look you can use a bald skull cap instead. |
Alpha Dirt

The final part of making your own Alpha costume is replicating the dirt that she has on her face.
Here you should use special effects dirt makeup and apply it to parts of your head and around your eyes. |
