Any fan of the Devil May Cry video games will surely enjoy the idea of making their own Dante costume. This is a really cool video game costume that is relatively easy to put together. It works well as a cosplay, fancy dress, or halloween costume. It is also a great costume idea for groups if you have friends who will dress in other Devil May Cry costumes.
Dante Costume – Devil May Cry 5
In order to make your own Dante costume you will need to get your hands on a select few items of clothing. This is easier than it may sound as clothing such as Dante’s jacket are available in replica form. Here is a complete list of everything you will need to make your own Dante costume from the Devil May Cry 5 video game.
Dante Jacket

The first and most obvious item of clothing you will need when making your own Dante costume is a jacket.
The jacket you will need should be a long leather jacket that is a dark red in color. Ideally the sleeves should be rolled up. This is easy to replicate as there are several replica Dante jackets available for sale. |

You will also need a t-shirt when making your own Dante costume.
This t-shirt should be grey and should ideally have a button up neck. It should also be a long sleeved t-shirt with the sleeve rolled up and only just visible from the jacket sleeves. |

Dante Pants

A pair of leather pants will be needed when putting together your Dante costume.
These leather pants should be black in color. The easiest way to replicate the pants that Dante wears would be to wear a pair of leather motorbike pants. |

Dante Boots

You will need a pair of boots for this Dante costume.
While you could wear a pair of black boots it is worth noting that if you look closely the boots worn by Dante are actually brown. A pair of motorcycle boots would work well here. |

Dante Gloves

You will need to wear a pair of gloves as part of your Dante costume.
These gloves should be black and should be fingerless. The easiest way to replicate these gloves would be to choose a pair of tactical combat gloves. |

The first prop you will need for your Dante costume is his guns.
Dante uses two guns which appear to be semi-automatic guns. We would never recommend the use of real guns for your Dante costume. We recommend using airsoft or toy guns instead. |

The final part of this Devil May Cry 5 costume is Dante’s hairstyle.
His hair is grey and straight. The easiest way to replicate this hairstyle would be to buy and wear a grey haired wig. |
