A truly awesome fancy dress idea for any Terminator fan is a T-1000 costume from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The T-1000 cyborg is portrayed by Robert Patrick and makes a truly great costume idea as a solo costume and a costume for groups of friends who will dress as other characters from the movie.
T1000 Costume – Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Making your own homemade DIY T-1000 costume is probably one of the easiest characters to replicate. You will be dressing as a police officer and adding the liquid silver bullet holes. Here is a detailed list of everything you will need to make your own T-1000 costume from Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
T1000 Police Uniform
|Your T-1000 costume will be made around a standard police uniform.
The easiest thing to do here is buy a fancy dress police uniform and wear this.
|You will need to wear a t-shirt under your police officer shirt.
Make sure the top button of your shirt is unfastened to show that you are wearing this plain white t-shirt underneath.
|A pair of formal style shoes will be required when making your own T-1000 costume.
You can use a simple pair of cheap black shoes which will look great as part of this fancy dress.
T1000 Police Badge
|A police badge will be needed for your T-1000 costume.
This police badge should be worn on your shirt on the left side of your chest as seen in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
|Since this cyborg dresses as a police officer you will need a utility belt.
You can buy utility belts complete with pouches which look just like the ones used by real police officers.
T1000 Bullet Holes
|The most difficult part of making your own T-1000 costume is replicating the silver bullet holes that this cyborg sustains.
Here, you have the option of buying readymade replica bullet holes or using aluminum foil to make your own which will be stuck to you shirt.
|The final thing you will need for this T-1000 costume is a gun.
We would never recommend the use of a real gun for any fancy dress. Instead you can use a toy or an airsoft gun.
