Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, is the main character from The Matrix movies. Making your own Neo costume is as simple and as cheap as getting hold of a few separate items. Here is everything you will need to make your own Neo costume.
Neo Trench Coat

The single most important part of making your own Neo costume is the long black trench coat that he wears.
While in some scenes in The Matrix he is seen wearing it fastened at the front for this costume you will have it unfastened. This allows you to show off your gun holsters. Your trench coat should be black and be long enough to hang well past your knees. |

Neo Shirt

Under his trench coat Neo wears a long sleeved black t-shirt which you will need as part of your Neo costume.
Like Neo, you will need a long sleeved black t-shirt that is quite tight fitting rather than loose. Obviously, we are not talking ridiculously skin tight but tight all the same. |

Neo Pants

You will need a pair of combat or cargo pants for your Neo costume.
The combat pants that Neo wears in The Matrix are black with pockets on the sides of the legs. He also appears to have his pants pushed inside his boots. |

Neo Sunglasses

The sunglasses that you will need for your Neo costume are fairly distinctive. They have black lenses with very thin frames.
There are many pairs of sunglasses very similar to the ones worn by Neo. There are also a wide variety of 100% replica sunglasses like the ones worn by Neo in The Matrix. |

Neo Boots

For this version of the Neo costume you will need a pair of black knee high boots.
The boots that Neo wears in The Matrix appear to have steel toe caps with four silver buckles with black straps. While you may find it difficult or expensive to find an exact replica pair there are many that are similar available. |

Neo Shoulder Holster

When Neo has his trench coat open or when he is not wearing it we can see that he wears gun holsters on his shoulders.
He wears either a dual shoulder holster or two separate holsters under each arm. For you Neo costume the choice of a dual or two single shoulder is holsters is down to personal choice. |

Neo Tactical Leg Straps

You will not only need a shoulder gun holster for your Neo costume. You will also need two tactical leg straps. One for each leg.
The tactical leg straps that Neo wears in The Matrix are black in color and appear to be manufactured from leather with silver buckles.
